National Museum of the American Indian

UX/UI | Web Design & development

I had the honor of collaborating one on one with the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) on a series of educational websites for NMAI’s Native Knowledge 360° (NK360°) program. NK360° provides educators and students with new perspectives on Native American history and cultures that enlighten and inform teaching and learning about Native America. NMAI’s NK360° educational resources are utilized by educators and students so it was imperative for human-centered design and accessibility to be at the forefront. For each of the websites I was tasked with curating the art direction, as well as creating the wireframes, prototypes, and high fidelity mock-ups. I catered the design and visuals of each website to the demographics they were targeting, while respectfully representing the visual motifs of each individual tribe. All design assets and choices were created and implemented by me.
